Parroquia de San Juan Evangelista Aquixtla

Church, Temples and former convents
Located in Aquixtla

At the end of the 19th century, what would be the main parish was built in the municipal seat of Aquixtla. The building had remained unchanged, in a state of disrepair until 12 years ago, when it began to be restored indoors and outdoors.

The exteriors were lined with talavera poblana mosaics in blue and yellow with plant or floral motifs. The interior is currently being lined with natural quarry tiles.
